History and Origins:

Yeti is a variety named for its appearance. This variety is a mutation of “TAT” isolated by cultivator Jik Fibs. Yeti is well known for its leggy, dense, and uniquely potent fruits. Yeti is often compared as a larger sized Albino Penis Envy due to the high potency and physical appearance.

Spores: Translucent/Albino spores, 11 by 8 micrometres in size.
Habitat: Bovine, Equine Dung and Enriched Soils
Climate: Subtropical
Cap: 15-45 mm in diameter, convex in shape, not often opening or furling upwards in maturity. White flesh matures to light blue and very dark blue
Stem: 25+ mm in length, white flesh bruising blue with a light green undertone where injured. Occasional membranous annulus (ring) from partial veil that becomes dusted with translucent spores at maturity. *Note, not all Yeti fruit bodies have veil remnants.

How do I store my spores?

Spores should be stored in a cool, dark and dry environment.

How long can I keep my swab before using?

You should use your swab as soon as possible. If stored correctly the spores should be fine for 6 months. The longer you leave the swab the more chance of contamination being present when viewing under the microscope.
