It is our priority that the privacy of all visitors to Mycotown is kept private. We have therefore chosen to opt out of using Google Analytics and only use essential cookies to ensure the website is functional and no more.

No information is stored when visiting the site. If you purchase something from the webshop the information you enter is solely used for the purposes of fulfilling your order. We will not :

1) Sell your data on to a third party.

2) Use your data for any targeted advertising purposes.

3) Use your data for marketing

Your information will be stored in case of a future issue with your order so that we have a record. If you would like to have your information deleted please get in touch using the “Contact Us” form and we will delete your information for you.

We make this website as secure as possible by using the HTTPS protocol which requires an SSL certificate. We also use a security plugin to avoid any data breaches. In the event of a data breach we are able to see that a breach has taken place and will inform any previous customers of this breach ASAP (within 72 hours).

If you would like to receive emails from us then you can sign up when placing an order. Email’s are collected and sent using Mail Chimp. You can see Mail Chimp’s GDPR information here. You can opt out of emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.  You can also get in contact using the “Contact Us” page at any time and we will manually remove your information from Mail Chimp at your request.

 WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

 

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate mycotown.com. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Sites and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of mycotown.com, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Your privacy is of the upmost importance to us and so we only use essential cookies so that the site remains functional. We have discarded unecessary cookies such as Google Analytics to this end.

To send you marketing and promotional communications.  You will only receive marketing information if you have opted in by subscribing. We and/or our third party marketing partners (Mailchimp) may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. Fulfill and manage your orders. We may use your information to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through mycotown.com.

To post testimonials. We post testimonials on our Sites that may contain personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and testimonial. If you wish to update, or delete your testimonial, please use the  Contact Us form and be sure to include your name, testimonial location, and contact information.

Request Feedback. We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of mycotown.com

To protect our Sites. We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep mycotown.com safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).

To enforce our terms, conditions and policies.

Your information is only shared when absolutely necessary for mycotown.com to run. We do not sell any information

We use plug-ins to improve the functionality and UX of our website. Some of these plug-ins require that we share some of your information, such as your IP address.

By placing an order on our website, you consent to receiving an invitation to review your order and to receive review reminder emails from CusRev, an independent third-party review collection service.

We limit how much your personal information is shared as much as possible and do not use Google Analytics for this reason.
